For many years, creating beautiful pieces for women has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

My story began long before this boutique existed. It began with my grandmother.

She was the kind of woman who believed that what you wore mattered — not because of trends or status, but because clothing was a form of care. A way of saying to the world and to yourself — I am here, I am present, I am worth this. As a child I watched her turn simple fabrics into timeless pieces, each one made with patience and attention and a quiet love that I have never forgotten.

What started as a little girl sitting beside her grandmother slowly became a lifelong passion for designing and creating beautiful clothing for women.

When I opened Heather & Co in Toronto, I carried that same belief into every decision. Every piece that came into this boutique had to pass one simple test — does she look beautiful in it? Does she feel beautiful in it? Both answers have to be yes. If either one is missing, it does not belong here.

Over the years, something wonderful happened.

Women found us. Women across Canada who had quietly given up on finding clothing that felt like them. They came in for one piece and stayed for an hour. They brought their sisters and their mothers and their best friends. They came back season after season. They tagged us in photos from weddings and birthdays and ordinary Tuesdays when they just happened to feel genuinely beautiful and wanted to share that feeling with someone.

Those moments are why I kept going.

Now, after many years of building something I am truly proud of, I have made a decision I never took lightly. It is time for me to step into a new chapter and spend more time with my family.

That is why I am holding my Retirement Sale — as a thank you to every woman who has been part of this journey. Every piece I loved, every style that passed my real-woman test, is here now at special farewell prices. Once a style sells through it will not be made again.

To every woman who has shopped with me — thank you. Genuinely. You are the reason Heather & Co became something I am proud of.

To every woman discovering us for the first time — welcome. I am so glad you found us, even now at the very end.
