There are pieces of jewelry you buy because they look nice in a photo. And then there are pieces you buy because something about them feels completely real the moment you hold them.
I made this ring for the second kind of woman.
The band is handcrafted from 99.9% pure copper — not plated, not coated, not a synthetic finish designed to look like something it isn't. Real copper. Worked by hand with tools I have had for years, every detail cut slowly and with care. The kind of craftsmanship that shows in the weight of it when you pick it up and the way it catches the light differently from every angle.
Women have worn copper for thousands of years — not because it was the cheapest option, not because it was the most convenient, but because there is something about real copper that no other material quite manages. A warmth to it. A character that develops over time. A genuinely precious feeling that plated jewelry promises and never quite delivers.
This is one of the last pieces from my copper collection. I am moving on to something new and these designs will not be made again.
